This one-night-only event will feature performances and appearances by Marisa Tomei, India.Arie, Maria Bello, Michael Franti, Sarah, Duchess of York and others, as well as the world premiere of “Woinshet,” a powerful short film co-directed by Academy Award winner Marisa Tomei.

Half the Sky, presented by the Atlanta-based humanitarian organization CARE, will take place at 7:30 pm in nearly 500 movie theatres in the U.S., including the Regal Northpoint theatre in Alpharetta.
