First Day of School for Jacob Moore at AES!
By heidijmoore
Jacob Moore with Cindy Fleischer inside Alpharetta Elementary School on the first day of school.

Jacob Moore (10 yrs old) has been going to Alpharetta Elementary School since he was 3 yrs old. On November 13, 2009, Jacob was diagnosed with Leukemia and was not able to go back to school the rest of the year. On August 23, 2010, Jacob got to go back for the first time! His assistant, Cindy Fleischer, was there to greet him with open arms (and everyone else at AES)! This was a huge accomplishment for Jacob. His immune system has gotten better in order to go back to school and see all his friends and classmates. Jacob's favorite subject is reading.

Many thanks to everyone at Alpharetta Elementary for making Jacob's first day of school so successful. You guys are all amazing and we are so appreciative of everything you have done to make this transition back easier for everyone involved. Jacob loves you all very much and loves being back!
